Lois Williams is called in to witness the signing of a Will by a shrill-voiced old woman. The old woman dies that night, but the following day Lois hears the same voice again. Lockridge books are always readable, but this is as lightweight as they come. Very little detection and a minimum of action until the inevitable Gothic pursuit drives our heroine into the arms of Mr. Right.
